Phuc Tue Centre was established on June 1st, 2001 according to the Decision No 02/2001/QD under the Hanoi Relief Association for the disabled children. Their mission is to care for, educate, recover mental health, teach, and guide the disabled to suitable jobs to help them build self confidence and learn how to be more independent in their everyday life. Due to the dedication of 22 teachers, psychologists, doctors, nurses, and other administration staff, the domestic and international volunteers and the family efforts, one third of the disabled children have been distinctly changed. Many of them have attended school and work, integrated into the community. With their poor infrastructures and limited finances, they appeal to volunteers, individuals, and organizations’ generosity for charity.
